- Maximum capacity of 50 people
- If we cant show you anything through a telescope due to bad weather, we do our extended presentation instead and issue a 50% refund exc booking fee.
Premium Session
- Held after the final Night Sky session
- Usually not available on nights around the full moon
- Informative astronomy talk under the stars
- Viewing stars, planets, nebulae and galaxies through various telescopes
- Astronomy questions answered in detail
- Two hour session
- Maximum of six people per session
- Four free astrophotographs of deep sky objects with your supplied and eligible DSLR camera
- Free 6×4 photo of a deep sky object
- Supplied astronomical binoculars for your personal use throughout the night
Astrophotography
- Only held on moonless nights
- Bring your own Canon, Nikon or Sony DSLR camera
- Alternatively, bring a standard SD card
- Photos of various deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters with your camera through telescopes
- 17″ Planewave telescope and 4″ Takahashi refractor
- Bring a wide angle lens for images of constellations or the Milky Way
- Two hour session
Daytime Solar Viewing
- View the Sunspots & Prominences on the Sun.
- View Venus & Mars in June
- View stars through the telescopes
- 3pm start on clear days
- Bookings essential
Private Telescope Viewing
- This is a personal session just for you and anyone you want to bring along.
