You will require a pre-purchased ticket to attend any of our sessions.
Every person regardless of age requires a ticket with their name on it.
Tickets are purchased from a ticketing agency who will charge a small ticketing fee.
Every person regardless of age requires a pre-paid ticket. No exceptions as we have a visitor number limits imposed on us and any person of any age has to be included in those numbers.
The show is recommended for people 5 years and over. Children under 5 generally find it difficult to view through telescopes so dont get much out of the show so we recommend that you do not bring them. If you do you will need to purchase tickets for them as we have to include them in our number limits.
When entering your information please ensure you type the full name of each person attending and contact information as this is required in case NSW want to contract trace at a later date.
Please ensure you provide a contact mobile number in case we need to contact you on the day with any changes.
When you purchase a ticket, please check your ticket immediately that it has the date and session time correct. If there is an error contact me immediately by email peter@dubboobservatory.com If you turn up at the wrong session we cannot permit entry. If you do not arrive at the correct session there is no refund as others who could have had those spots have been turned away.
You must give more than 3 days notice if you wish to cancel, or reduce numbers attending in order to receive a refund. The booking fee and credit card fee is not refunded.
If you have to cancel due to bushfires, or a government order (e.g. you are from or visited a covid-19 lockdown area, or have been asked to quarantine or self isolate, a refund excluding booking and card fees is given with more than 72 hours notice. If less than 72 hours notice is given, no refund is given, however a credit is issued to a future session in the next 12 months of the same monetary value. if the future show is cancelled, no refund is given but a credit note is issued to book another date.
Do not purchase a ticket if you dont meet any of the covid-19 conditions at the bottom of this page. For the Night Sky & Telescope Viewing Sessions you must wear a mask while onsite unless a medical issue prevents this.
If you wish to change to another session, more than 72 hours notice is required. If the future date session is cancelled by us, there is no refund but a credit note is issued to attend a future session of the same value in the next 12 months. Alternatively we can cancel your booking, issue a refund minus ticketing fees and you can purchase a new ticket at another session if you wish. A refund is given if we cancel that future session.
